FandangoNow is following in the footsteps of iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play and Vudu, becoming the latest online video retailer to join the Movies Anywhere initiative, which allows movie fans to source content from a range of providers using one unified account.
Currently only available in the US, Movies Anywhere syncs purchases between its retailers. For instance, if a user purchases a movie via the iTunes Store, it will also be available through their Amazon account for viewing on Fire TV or another Amazon Video-compatible device.
