Insurance group Ergo has extended its Emoji campaign until mid-December, in collaboration with taxi advertising specialist, Fleet Ad.
Via in-car passenger tablets, Ergo’s campaign uses icons and what-if scenarios to educate users about accident risks and insurance claims, before referring them to the Ergo website. The company has devised the strategy to appeal to the younger tech and internet-savvy generations.
Fleet Ad is currently advertising via 10″ HD tablets in over 2,000 taxis operating in 15 German cities, featuring targeted digital and interactive ad campaigns, news, sports and entertainment, with content from Sky Deutschland, n-tv, RTL and VIP.de. The tablets also provide passengers and drivers with free Wi-Fi.
