The streaming service Epix is now available on Apple TV4 and comes with a limited free trial for subscribers. Movies including ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘James Bond’ and ‘Star Trek’ are available via the app. Such people as Katy Perry, Louis CK and Wanda Sykes also feature as do other music and comedy events. Series such as ‘Berlin Station’ and ‘Graves’ as well as live channels are also on offer.
Apple wants to establish its tvOS operating system and the Apple TV4 hardware as the best option for video streaming and apps for the TV screen. Apple has already attracted many of the major players and now Epix is available.
Epix was already available up to HD quality on Chromecast, PlayStation, Roku boxes and TVs, Android TV, Xbox One, smartphones and tablets.
