Digitimes said that Ennostar’s subsidiaries, Epistar, Lextar Electronics, Unikorn Semiconductor, Yenrich Technology and ProLight, will showcase LED products at Touch Taiwan 2022.
Highlights will be:
- Epistar: COB (chip on board) and POB (package on board) miniLED backlighting for LCD TVs, automotive displays, monitors and notebooks as well as microLED chip-on-wafer technology and 8-inch Si-based GaN substrates used in epitaxy of micro LED wafers
- Lextar: mass transfer of microLED chips from wafers onto backplanes, microLED chip packaging technology to simplify module design
- Unikor will show an advanced microLED manufacturing platform
- Yenrich: a 5-meter ultra-fine-pitch display using miniLED flip-chip packaging, featuring ultra-high brightness and ultra-high transparency
- ProLight – models of LED devices for automotive outdoor and indoor lighting
- PlayNitride will have
- a 5.05″ microLED with 116% NTSC, brightness of 2,000nits and a pixel pitch of 0.43mm to be used as a mosaic for larger displays
- 9.38″ microLED automotive display with transparency of 65-70%;
- a 11.6″ 24:9 2.5K microLED automotive display; and
- a 1.58″ square-shaped micro LED display for wearable devices and in-car small-size functional windows.
