Elan Unveils Two New Displays at Doha Festival City

Elan Media has launched two new Digital Out-of-Home assets in Doha Festival City—named The Torch and The Runway.

The Torch, claiming to be the largest roadside screen in Qatar, stands at 50m² and faces both directions of the carriageway. The outdoor display uses Daktronics LED technology.

Meanwhile, The Runway is a set of eight Altoona LED displays wrapped around the pillars situated in DFC’s food court, and near to the entrance to the theme parks, due to open soon. Altoona is a supplier of LED displays from Italy.

All the displays used have been specifically designed to deal with the Qatar heat.

Analyst Comment

Separately, Elan Media said that it has chosen BroadSign International’s digital signage software to power its Digital Out-of-Home advertising network. Under the new agreement, Elan Media will also gain access to Quividi’s analytics technology, which will allow the company to measure its audience in real-time and tailor advertising based on the data. Elan’s network covers high-profile areas including the Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City and Ezdan Mall. (AF)
