E Ink announced its financial results for the first quarter 2018 with net sales of NT$ 2,898 million ($96.6 million), a decrease of 10.0%, compared to NT$ 3,218 million ($107.3 million) in Q1 2017. Net income for Q1 2018 was NT$ 41 million ($1.37 million), a decrease of 73.8%, compared to NT$ 157 million ($5.24 million) in Q1 2017.
Net sales decreased by 17.3% on QoQ whereas net income showed positive signs of recovery and reached NT$ 41 million ($1.37 million) after bearing a loss of NT$ 50 million ($1.67 million) in the last quarter.
