This week we are highlighting LCD Public Displays in the 46″ Full HD category covering sizes 43.5″ to 48.49″ with 1920 x 1080 resolution. There are 11 brands featured in the advertising. Samsung is at the top of the PageShare for the combined three major countries, NEC Displays is second and Philips is third. The ranking is the same in the UK. In France, Samsung leads followed by Philips in second and NEC Displays in third whilst in Germany, Samsung leads followed by NEC Displays in second and LG in third.
Over the three countries, NEC Displays takes the top position with the MultiSync E464 with Samsung taking the next two positions with the UD46C and the ME46C. In France, Samsung’s ME46C is top followed by the Philips BDL4651H in second and Samsung’s UD46C in third. In Germany, Samsung’s LE46C LED is top followed by NEC Displays’ MultiSync P463 in second and Samsung’s UD46C in third. In the UK, the three leading models were NEC Displays’ MultiSync E464, Samsung’s UD46C and Sony’s FWD-S46H2.
The average dollar price was up by 9% year on year over the three countries. The average dollar price in France was up 14% YoY, while in Germany it was up 7% and in the UK it was up 9%. The minimum price in August for a 46″ Full HD LCD Public Display was $664.74 excluding tax.
