DSO Announces New Board and Date for ISE Meeting

The formation of the Digital Signage Organisation (DSO), a new organisation to support the European Digital Signage industry was announced from their London HQ.

The organisation’s President is Simon Jackson, Vice President, Strategic & Vertical Sales EMEA, NEC Display Solutions and previously President of Digital Signage Federation Europe (DSF-E). Joining him on the board are 2 previous board members of DSF-E, Leif Liljebrunn (President and CEO of ZetaDisplay AB.) who joins as Vice President and Dirk Huelsermann (Managing Partner of STRATACACHE Capital) who takes the role of Chairman. In addition 2 new Vice Presidents have joined in Harry Horn (GM EMEA & VP Marketing Global of Scala Inc.) and Owen Ellis (Chairman, AV User Group). The DSO plans to make additional board member announcements at ISE.

Simon Jackson, President of DSO commented “With our new organisation we have the ability to better serve the needs of the European Digital Signage community. We have a strong board with representation across vendors, integration and end users as we intend to cover all areas of the industry.

The next DSO meeting will take place at the ISE in Amsterdam, Holland at 4.00pm on Thursday February 7th in Room F002 and is open to all.

At this meeting potential new members will be able to hear in more detail the plans for the future of DSO including membership benefits and events planned.
