Doogee of China has added a new smartphone, the Mix 2 which has a 5.99″ 18:9 full-display OLED screen with 1080 x 2160 resolution with curves on the sides like the Samsung Galaxy Edge. The phone has a Mediatek Helio P25 chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery is 4,060 mAh. Connectivity is via USB Type-C which is used for the headphones, an adaptor being supplied. The phone has dual cameras on each side – 16mp and 13mp on the rear and dual selfie cameras, one of which is very wide angle (130º) for group photos.
The company says that the phone uses the cameras for facial recognition.
