Dolby Laboratories Inc. posted Q3 net profit of $35.5 million, down from $39.8 million in the same quarter last year, on revenue of $231.7 million, an increase from $223.4 million. For the nine months there were profits of $134.8 million, a reduction from $160.2 million a year ago, on turnover of $737.9 million, up from $733.2 million. The company said that its core business remains strong.
