Tongue-twistingly-named Dlodlo, of China, has announced a pair of VR glasses weighing 120g – said to be four times lighter than competitors’ models. The glasses have the ‘look and fit’ of sunglasses. The display has 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 110° field of view. They use a 2,000mAh battery, run Android 4.4 and connect to other devices using Bluetooth 4.0. The company will show the glasses at CES Asia (25th – 27th May in Shanghai), and begin to sell them online on 27th May, for $700.
