DisplayLink, the leading provider of USB graphics and Wireless VR technology, joined Targus to announce the new Targus DOCK520USZ Universal Docking Station – the world’s first dock to support four extended HD displays – has been honored with a CES 2019 Innovation Award in the Computer Peripherals category.
The DOCK520USZ utilises DisplayLink’s DL-3950 chip technology to enable any computer to easily connect up to four monitors via HDMI output ports, boosting productivity for call centers, investment firms, design agencies and other industries where expanding visual workspace improves efficiency. The dock supports four HD (1920 x 1080 p60) displays or dual 2K (2560 x 1440 p50) displays while centralizing connectivity by offering ports for USB-A and USB-C peripherals, Ethernet LAN and audio.
The annual CES Innovation Awards program celebrates outstanding product design and engineering in brand-new consumer technology products. Visitors to CES 2019, running from January 8-11 in Las Vegas, NV, can visit DisplayLink at booth #30750 in South Hall 3 of the Las Vegas Convention Center to see the award-winning Targus docking station in action.
“Like DisplayLink, Targus strives to push boundaries in order to deliver unique customer experiences and we’re delighted to see their new Universal Docking Station honored with a CES 2019 Innovation Award,” said John Cummins, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Simplifying connectivity for business and enterprise is at the heart of DisplayLink’s productivity solutions and the Targus DOCK520USZ achieves this in a compact dock that reduces desk clutter while maximizing workstation viewing.”
