Dish Network Corporation announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018. Net revenues for Q1 2018 were $3.46 billion, a decrease of 6%, compared to $3.68 billion in Q1 2107. Net income for Q1 2018 was $368 million, down 2.2%, compared to $376 million in Q1 2017.
In this first quarter, Pay-TV services which consist of Dish brand and Sling brand, accounted for 13.148 million Pay-TV subscribers, a decrease of 3%, compared to 13.528 million Pay-TV subscribers in Q1 2017. Dish TV subscribers reached to 10.845 million, a decline of 185000 subscribers. On the other hand, number of Sling TV subscribers reached to 2.303 million, an increase of approximately 91,000 subscribers.
