Dimenco Displays revealed the next step in simulated reality with the Dimesa 8: the world’s first 8K 3D processing board.
By calculating every individual sub-pixel in real time, Dimenco’s advanced technology creates the most natural, engaging 3D viewing experience to date, without the need for uncomfortable, inconvenient glasses.
The heart of Dimenco’s next-generation 8K displays
The new Dimesa 8 board will form the beating heart behind Dimenco’s Simulated Reality technology and upcoming range of 8K displays. Representing a major achievement in 3D capabilities, it processes 3D imagery in real time and features 5 Altera FPGA programmable chips for maximum flexibility .
The Dimesa 8 processes data for every single red, green and blue sub pixel, dynamically calculating in real time which eye it hits. These different split-second images effortlessly merge into a single 3D image, eliminating the need for uncomfortable, impractical glasses. The result? An immersive 3D experience that will leave viewers astonished. The technology also offers wide viewing angles – ensuring impressive 3D imagery from any corner of the room. And close viewing distances.
Bringing new 3D capabilities to a range of markets
Dimenco sees major potential across a variety of industries for their groundbreaking 8K 3D processor and Simulated Reality technology According to Maarten Tobias, CEO at Dimenco.
“Our latest hardware achievement is a testament to our dedicated, boundary-pushing team. We’re proud to be able to contribute to exciting new SR experiences for consumers, from entertainment and gaming to medical and aviation. But offering razor-sharp simulated reality will also drive new possibilities for sophisticated business applications, like computer simulations and design tools.”
The Dimesa 8 platform is currently in the final stages of production. In addition to being incorporated their own 3D displays, the board will be sold as a standalone product to the world’s leading electronics manufacturers. Dimenco will soon launch 32” and 65” 8k products based on the Dimesa8.
