Digital TV Labs is launching products designed to accelerate the development and deployment of UltraHD HEVC services. The organisation’s HEVC for DVB Test Suite enables SoC, STB and TV vendors to check their products’ compliance with the Phase 1 UltraHD specifications (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 28). It can also be used to check whether a product meets Digital Europe’s requirements to be eligible to carry the new UltraHD logo (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 35). The latest version of DTVL’s Ligada iSuite for DASH has also been released and will be demonstrated at IBC (5.A01).
