The Air Traffic Management Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC/ATMB) will install Digital Projection’s E-Vision series of 1DLP projectors in two ‘major’ ATC simulation centres. Eight E-Vision 7500 projectors were used in both centres, to throw a 12 x 4m image. In another division, smaller models – E-Vision 6800 projectors – were used. The ATMB chose DPI’s projectors because of their better brightness attenuation compared to rivals, which were unable to meet the Centre’s colour contrast requirements.
