CPT and ITRI agreed the transfer of flexible AMOLED technology and touch panel integration last month (CPT Signs Technology Agreement with ITRI). Now, there are reports that CPT expects to begin mass-production of flexible AMOLED displays by 2017. The company will apparently convert its existing G4.5 pilot line, or somehow integrate it with ITRI’s G2.5 line. CPT aims to use IGZO backplanes.
