CPT’s September Revenue Down 13% YoY

Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) posted a 4.2% decline in sales last month to NT$4.4 billion ($144.5 million), which was 12.9% lower than September 2013. Sales from January to September reached NT$42.2 billion ($1.4 billion), down 2.3% from the same period of last year. CPT shipped 135,000 large panels, up 3.1% from August but down 2.2% from September 2013, while small and medium panel shipments fell 4.7% sequentially and 27.8% year on year to 36.6 million units.
