Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) reported a 3.4% month on month and 23.9% year on year drop in sales in June, to NT$3.6 billion ($115.9 million), bringing sales in the first half of the year to NT$24.7 billion ($795.5 million), 14.4% lower than the same period of last year.
CPT shipped 84,000 large panels last month, up 21.7% sequentially but 47.5% lower YoY. Small and medium panel shipments totaled 35.6 million units, up 12.2% from May 2015 but down 9.6% from June 2014.
