Stratacache, which has been acquiring companies including Scala and Real Digital Media, has started offering full project and management for turnkey digital signage solutions, including those not built on its own platforms. Invidis reports that there has been no confirmation yet that Stratacache will offer this service in Europe, but doubts that the firm will want to limit its opportunity by not doing it. Up to now, Scala has worked exclusively through partners and we have often heard the company talk about the strength and additional skillsets that this brings.
Invidis points out that integration competitor, Diversified, has taken over four competitors in the last 12 months.

The partner or direct question is always a tough one until you get to a point, as both HP and Dell did in the PC market, or TPV has done in the monitor and TV markets, that you are big enough to be able to risk upsetting one side or another and do both. (BR)
