Comark, a US-based manufacturer, has launched two new displays, for industries where SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) operation and runtime software application graphics are becoming larger and more detailed.
The displays (iPC2150W and M2100W) are both 21.5″ units with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Both feature the UL and cUL 508 certifications, as well as Class I Division 2 and CE approvals.
Part of Comark’s iPC Plus series, the iPC2150W houses an integrated computer. This computer runs Windows 7 Pro (32-bit, upgradeable to 64-bit) on a dual-core Intel Mobile Celeron 1020E CPU. Dual-core Core i5 or quad-core Core i7 options are available. It also has 4GB of DRAM (upgradeable to 8GB or 16GB), an 80GB SSD (upgradeable to 300GB SSD or 500GB SSHD) and a DVD R/W drive. Three I/O expansion backplanes are available, with various combinations of PCI and/or PCIe.
Brightness is 300 cd/m². The display has a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles. It also features 5-wire resistive touch and a keypad. The aluminium front is rated NEMA 4/4X/12 and IP66. HDMI, VGA, USB 2.0 (x2), USB 3.0 (x4), PS/2, RS232, RS485/422/432 and RJ45 ports are featured.
The M-Series displays are industrial monitors, without an attached PC. The M2100W adds a high-resolution option to the line, and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Like the iPC, it has five-wire resistive touch (Elo AccuTouch) and the same Nema and IP ratings. Displays specifications are also identical. VGA and DVI ports are featured.
Comark is selling its new displays now. Price is on application.
