Clear Channel Sign New Deal With Sea-Tac Airport

Clear Channel Airports has signed a 10-year media deal with Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, affectionately known as Sea-Tac.

Clear Channel has provided Sea-Tac with digital advertising since 2007, and the new 10-year deal will see the company bring the airport—which welcomes 45 million passengers every year—up to speed with modern display technology.

The new installation will include a number of LED high-definition ceiling-suspended video walls, each over 100 square feet (9.3m²) in size, as well as advanced LCD display networks on the airport’s main concourse and in its baggage claim area.

Clear Channel will also fit an array of signage, both LED-illuminated and eco-friendly, non-illuminated tension fabric, throughout the airport’s interior and exterior, including double-sided ceiling-mounted banners in high-dwell-time areas such as security, specifically designed to maximise viewed impressions.

The new partnership was signed at the beginning of August, with work expected to commence some time in 2018.
