China to Overtake Korean LCD Capacity

Sources in Asia say that Chinese makers’ LCD capacity will pass Koreans’ in 2016, due to new and expanded G8 production. Meanwhile, Korean companies are increasingly looking to AMOLED. The sources said that Samsung Display can currently produce 30,000 substrates a month at its A3 line, and plans to add more production lines.
