AG Neovo has launched the PM-Series: a budget range of large format displays with slim bezels, for digital signage applications.
Featuring USB playback (USB 2.0 port) and DLNA compliance, the four products in the range are designed to make installation user-friendly. With DLNA, content can be shared between different devices, such as mobile phones and PCs.
Each unit is housed in a metal chassis and features anti burn-in technology. They can be controlled via IR, RS232 and RJ45, and have a scheduler. An image enhancer is built in to each display: this adds a 3D comb filter, deinterlace and noise reduction functions.
The units are the PM-32 (31.5″); PM-43 (43″); PM-55 (54.6″); and PM-65 (64.5″). They each have an IPS panel, aside from the PM-65, which uses a VA unit. All screens share 1920 x 1080 resolution; 350 cd/m² of brightness; 178° viewing angles (176° on the PM-65); and 8-bit colour (10-bit on the PM-65).
HDMI, DVI, VGA and component ports, as well as two 10W speakers, are featured on each display. The PM-65 also has a DisplayPort input; content from this display can be tiled and daisy-chained.
Contrast ratio and response time vary. The PM-32 has a 1,400:1 contrast ratio and 4ms response time; the PM-43 has 3,000:1 has 3ms; the PM-55 has 1,200:1 and 5ms; and the PM-65 has 5,000:1 and 6.5ms.
The PM-Series is available now, but pricing was not shared.
