Celestica Inc., a specialist in design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions, announced its financial results for the first quarter ending March 31, 2018. Revenues for Q1 2018 were $1.49 billion, an increase of 1%, compared to $1.48 billion in Q1 2017. Net earnings of the company were $14.1 million, a decrease of 62.6%, compared to $22.5 million in Q1 2017.
In the first quarter of 2018, Celestica Inc. has seen significant growth in the Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) segment and net revenues of this segment were $532.8 million, an increase of 8.4%, compared to $491.4 million in first quarter of 2017. On the other hand, Connectivity & Cloud Solutions (CCS) segment saw a decrease of 2.4% in revenues compared to the first quarter of 2017 and revenues declined from $990.7 million to $966.9 million.
In its second quarter 2018 outlook, the firm expects the revenues to be in the range of $1.57 billion to $1.67 billion.
