Celestica Inc.recorded Q3 net profits of $33.4 million, down from $53.6 million a year earlier, on revenue which slipped 2% to $1.53 billion from $1.55 billion. For the nine months profits fell to $132.6 million from $141.4 million on turnover which grew to $4.56 billion from $4.39 billion. The company said that 45% of its sales came from communications and 31% from its advanced technology solutions. It added that despite volatility in the market, it remained committed to its strategy.
