CEC Opens IGZO Line

CEC Panda has opened a new G8.5 IGZO LCD production line in Nanjing, China. CNY29.2 billion ($4.7 billion) was invested in the fab, which has an annual output of 720,000 substrates. These substrates can be used in displays ranging from smartphones to TVs, which will have a pixel density of up to 700 ppi, according to CEC.
