Casio Emphasises Reliability

A long-time proponent of solid-state lighting systems, Casio unveiled a new laser-LED hybrid projector at BETT. The Core XJ-V2 is an upgrade from the XJ-V1, which was launched at BETT 2015. The only difference, however, is a higher lumen output: 3,000 vs 2,700.

The major selling point of Casio’s projectors, for education, is their low price and high reliability. To emphasise this, the company is offering the V2 model for only a small price increase over the V1: £400 ($570) (TBC) compared to £375 ($535) (trade prices). A five-year warranty is also supplied as standard.
