Cambridge Touch Technologies Launches Force-Sensitive Touch Display Module

Cambridge Touch Technologies (CTT) has announced the launch of a new 7-inch touch display module equipped with its patented force-sensitive capacitive touch technology.

CTT’s UltraTouch product aims to minimize common issues such as unintended touches and environmental interference like dust and moisture, which can lead to costly downtime and operational inefficiencies, addressing operational challenges in sectors like industrial automation, defense, and healthcare, where precision and reliability are paramount.. These challenges have plagued traditional touch display modules, particularly in high-stakes, mission-critical applications. The technology promises enhanced control capabilities by detecting both the location and force of a touch, with the ability to integrate with haptic feedback systems for faster response times.

The new UltraTouch TDM will be available through CTT’s global network of distributors, which includes partners such as Review Display Systems and Midas Displays. CTT plans to showcase the module at the Engineering Design Show in Coventry, UK, as part of its effort to expand its international presence and recruit additional resellers.
