Apple has sent out invitations to an event on Thursday 9th September, in San Francisco. The company traditionally reveals new iPhone models in the autumn. Unlike previous years, this invitation doesn’t hint at any specific product or feature – although does imply that the virtual assistant, Siri, knows something. Asking Siri will bring up a variety of answers, including, “The only hint I can give you right now is a hint of lime. And that there’s a big announcement on September 9th”.
