Visionect has supplied its E Ink screens in Boston – the first city in the USA to feature such an installation. Boston, nicknamed ‘America’s Walking City’, now boasts a 32″ electrophoretic display on City Hall Plaza, which can be used for wayfinding. It is solar powered and water resistant, and features a connection to the cloud for live updates. The screen was installed through a partnership of E Ink, Visionect, GDS and the mayor’s office.
