BOE to Take Third Place in LCD Capacity

Media reports from Taiwan claim that BOE will become the world’s third-largest panel maker, in terms of LCD capacity, by 2018. The prediction will come into effect when BOE’s G10.5 facility comes online in three years’ time. 61″, 65″, 70″ and 75″ panels will be produced there. BOE’s capacity would fall behind those of Samsung Display and LG Display.
