Bloomberg Claims SDC’s A3 Line Has Started Production

According to Bloomberg, Samsung Display has begun to produce flexible OLED displays at its G6.5 A3 line – which was expected to begin production in June. Bloomberg claims that the new fab will more than double SDC’s flexible OLED capacity, from 2 million 5″ panels a month to over 5 million. OLED-Info disputes this, calculating that SDC’s current capacity is closer to 1 million panels, even at 100% yields.
