Baseball Match to be Shot in 8k

Six 8k cameras will be in use at an upcoming baseball game in mid-July. The Seattle Mariners vs New York Yankees game will be filmed and broadcast (although not to the public) in the Super-Hi Vision format by Japan’s NHK. The feed will be sent to a special suite in the Yankee Stadium. The event will act as a practice run for NHK’s coverage of the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
