AV Stumpfl GmbH, an Austrian AV technology manufacturer, has officially announced the establishment of AV Stumpfl Inc. ahead of this year’s InfoComm exhibition in Nevada, United States.
The company’s new headquarters will be based in Atlanta and supported by a nationwide network of distributors, dealers and technology specialists. This is the first time that the family-owned firm has established an official subsidiary in the USA, with direct ties to its Austrian parent company.
Industry veteran Todd Liedahl was recently appointed as the managing director of the new US subsidiary. Liedahl brings over 25 years of experience from the rental and staging market to his new role.
At InfoComm, booth visitors will be given a sneak peek at a new media server software solution and will also be able to see the T-32 Shift screen system leg in action. The technology makes it possible for one person to adjust a mobile projection screen’s height, without having to disassemble it first. No extra measuring is needed to ensure that the frame is level, thanks to a built-in height scale. (see our report at ProLight & Sound (AV Stumpfl Updates Screen for One Person Operation)
