Atrust of Taiwan has introduced a new mobile thin client running either Windows Embedded Standard (WE8S) (MT168W) or Linux (MT168L)
The thin client is an 11.6″ model (1366 x 768) with a dual-core 1.58GHz Intel Bay Trail processor and a Trusted Platform Module chipset, to protect data. It is able to run major protocols and applications, such as VMware Horizon View, Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp and Microsoft’s RDP with RemoteFX.
Internally, the MT168W has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of flash memory, expandable to 32GB; the MT168L has 4GB of memory. VGA, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 (x2) and RJ45 ports are featured. It has a 2,880mAh battery.
