Asustek Computer posted August turnover of NT$39.86 billion ($1.26 billion), up 20% MoM but down 2.4% YoY. This resulted in a rise of 0.04% for year to date revenue to NT$295.8 billion ($9.35 billion). The company attributed growth to its ZenFone 3-series smartphones and also cites improved sales of notebooks. It is increasing the number of countries in which it sells the ZenFone and expects shipments of between 20 and 21 million in 2016.
