Asustek Computer has seen a drop in revenues for the month of January 2017. Consolidated revenues for the company were NT$31.349 billion ($995 million) which is the lowest monthly level since May 2016.
The figures represent a drop of 20.75% on month and 11.7% on year. The combined brand sales for January also fell 22.4% on month and 12% on year to NT$28.085 billion ($910 million).
Acer also saw a drop in revenues for January, down 9.96% on month but up 6.84% on year. Consolidated revenues for January were NT$19.962 billion ($647 million).
Both companies blamed the revenue falls in January on fewer working days available due to the Lunar New Year holidays.
