Asus’ net consolidated revenues rose 9.5% MoM but fell 5.4% YoY in May, to NT$31.9 billion ($983.1 million). In the first five months of the year, Asus generated NT$180.2 billion ($5.6 billion), up 0.9% YoY.
The company has cut its revenue forecast for Q2’16 by 5% due to weaker-than-expected notebook sales in Southeast Asia and China, as well as low smartphone ASPs, Asus said. Revenues are now expected to be between NT$90 billion and NT$95 billion ($2.8 billion – $2.9 billion).
