AptoVision’s BlueRiver NT chipset named Video Distribution Product of the Year

St Laurent, Quebec, Canada, October 6th, 2015 – AptoVision, a pioneer of game-changing AV chipset technology and winner of the 2014 Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ Jury’s Favourite prize, today announced that its BlueRiver NT chipset has won the Video Distribution Product of the Year award at the prestigious AV Awards 2015 event hosted by AV Magazine and sponsored by AVI-SPL.

Held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 25th September 2015 and attended by an audience of almost 1000 industry insiders, the 17th annual AV Awards celebrate, recognize and reward all that is good across the audio visual industry.

“Achieving pixel perfect uncompressed video over a network with two-line latency was ground-breaking and [is] the future of AV and broadcast signal transport.” said the judging panels which consisted of senior representatives from user companies and key industry players.

The category for “System Product of the Year – Video Distribution” was one of ten product categories and included 4 other well deserving finalists, namely Crestron™ (DMPS3-4K-150-C), Barco™ NV (XHD-404), Thinklogical™ (TLX Series) & Blackmagic™ (Design Smart Videohub).
