The Apple Watch uses an AMOLED screen, we reported last week (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 36). Asian sources now claim that these screens are being supplied by LG Display. Shipments are expected to reach 5 million per month next year, when the product is released. LGD will be the sole provider of the Watch’s screen.
