Apple Describes Phone With Wrap-Around Display

Apple has patented a phone with a wrap-around display – that is, a display encircling the device entirely. To avoid excessive battery drain, sensors would determine where the user is looking, and only the appropriate display would be turned on. All physical controls have been moved to the bottom of the phone, to take advantage of the new form factor.
