AMD announced its FY16 Q4 results with total GAAP revenue of $1.1 bn and GAAP operating loss of $3 mn. Revenues were up by 15% on a y-o-y basis, primarily due to higher GPU sales and the operating loss was significantly less than the $49 mn reported in FY15 Q4.
The company was successful in delivering an annual revenue growth of 7% in FY16 with GAAP revenues of $4.3 bn as compared to last year’s revenue of $4.0 bn, with business growth created in both the business segments of Computing & Graphics and Enterprise, Embedded & Semi-Custom. The GAAP operating loss for FY16 was $372 mn, 23% lower than $481 mn in FY15.
