Amazon.com Inc. announced Q3 net profits of $252 million, an increase from $79 million a year ago, on sales of $32.7 billion, up from $25.4 billion. For the nine months there were profits of £1.6 billion, compared with $114 million, on revenue which rose to $92.2 billion from $52.7 billion. Among its highlights, the company noted the introduction of the Fire HD 8 tablet and the next generation of its Fire TV Stick.
