Apple’s tvOS has a large portfolio of popular apps but the world’s second-largest streaming service, Amazon Prime Video, has been missing since launch, but will now be added later this year. The new addition was announced at the Apple annual developer conference, WWDC.
With the intended launch, it now appears that the two companies have finally buried the hatchet concerning Apple’s demand for a 30% cut of apps sold through its platform which kept Amazon Prime Video off Apple TV, and Apple TV off Amazon’s shelves.
