After Samsung and LG, New 2:1 Screen Ratio Smartphones Announced by NOA

After its debut at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and the presentation of the current flagship model at the EISA Press Convention, the NOA Croatian smartphone brand is announcing new models for fall and next year. The new devices will follow the 2:1 on 6 inch screen ratio, with a significantly expanded memory capacity along with a four camera feature.

The NOA Croatian smartphone brand is constantly developing new products, so a new device lineup for fall and next year comes as no surprise. The latest trend in the mobile phone market are devices with a 2:1 screen ratio, as presented by Samsung with its S8 model.

Since the entire industry is closely following this development, we can expect changes in the smartphone screen size next year. In accordance with this, the development and designer part of the NOA team is following the current trends and announcing such models, after Samsung and LG and ahead of competition.

The planned November release should feature a screen that would cover most of the phone surface, from one edge to another, according to the latest devices made by Samsung and LG.

The device will have a 2:1 screen with a 6 inch diagonal and a 1080p resolution, making it slightly smaller than Samsung Galaxy S8, but larger than LG G6.

It will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6750 processor, and it will have 4GB of RAM, 64 GBs of internal memory, a 13 MP back and 5 MP front camera, a 5.000 mAh battery, and come in a unibody aluminium casing.

The current name of the device is NOA N5. Its price point is in the middle range, with a release schedule in December, 2017.

An even more intriguing device is coming at the start of 2018. The next Mobile World Congress Barcelona should unveil the latest smartphone with a screen covering the entire front surface. Since this will be NOA’s latest flagship, a MediaTek’s Helio X35 processor in 10 nm technology was selected as its CPU. The device will have 8GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, 5.000 mAh battery and four cameras (two in the front and two in the back).

Next to these two devices, NOA will also launch a model from a lower price range with a 5,5 inch screen, sporting a 2:1 screen ratio.

During the last few years NOA has affirmed itself on the Croatian and regional market, and considering the expansion onto the rest of the European market and Russia, along with the close following of global mobile industry trends, we can expect a continuation of this success story.
