Acer has slimmed down its Iconia tablet series, with a new model called the Iconia One 7.
Available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB variants, the tablet features a micro-SD slot that will accept cards up to 128GB. The unit has a 7″ display, with 1280 x 720 resolution and a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, running Android 5.0.
The Iconia One 7 will be available in EMEA this month, for $130.
Acer has also launched the Switch 11 V, which we first saw at Computex this year (Acer Refreshes Mobiles at Computex). Retaining features and size (11.6″) from the original Switch 11, this convertible PC now boasts an Intel Core M CPU and a fanless build. The design has also been updated, with a new Snap Hinge 2; this uses a magnet and latchless guiding plane, to enable notebook, tablet, display and tent modes.
The Switch V runs Windows 8.1 and costs £415 ($650). All prices are ex VAT.
