Acer reported a 50% month on month rise in sales last month to NT$26.5 billion ($851.3 million), though this was 27.3% lower than June 2014. For the second quarter, the company saw sales of NT$60 billion ($1.9 billion), slipping 11.8% quarter on quarter and for the first six months of the year, sales declined 18.9% to NT$128.1 billion ($4.1 billion).
The company said that it hopes sales growth in the second half of the year will be driven by sales of its Chromebook, 2-in-1 notebooks and gaming notebooks.
