An exclusive demonstration of Absen Optoelectronics’ new high-resolution outdoor LED display, the X5, will be given at ISE 2015. Absen will be in hall 11, stand F52.
The X5 is a 5.2mm-pixel pitch product for rental applications. It consists of a frame and module, for simple installation. The product is IP65-certified and features a redundant power supply.
Several other displays will also be on show. The A series are high-resolution indoor products, with ISE acting as the first European showing of the A1.9 and A2 (1.9mm and 2.5mm). They feature Absen third generation calibration technology, which enables panels from different production runs to work together in one display. Hot swap is also supported, so re-calibration is not required when replacing modules or receiving cards.
The C7 Mesh LED display (7.5mm) is a lightweight product with high brightness and flexible installation. An auto-lock system enables faster installation and disassembly, and a flexible panel design allows for -10 deg to 10 deg continuous adjustment. Another flexible display is the F8 (8mm), which is said to be the lightest LED display in the industry. A module can be installed in three seconds, using vertical connection by hook and horizontal by magnet. Installation time is reduced by integrated rigging and a power balance function. An integrated receiving card and module is said to decrease failure rate.
Finally, Absen will show a 10mm-pitch product for stadium perimeters called the A97; this display is IP65-certified and serviceable from the front and rear.
