Amazon’s new Fire HD tablets use Mediatek processors, it has been announced. The Fire HD 6, Fire HD 7 and Fire HD Kids Edition (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 37) use the MT8135 SoC and MT6628 connectivity chip.
